"4/20""WC Gas Pressure Switch"
4/20"WC Gas Pressure Switch
The Dwyer Instruments 1996 Series Pressure Switches are specifically designed to provide an economical sensing element for many different applications. The 4/20""WC Gas Pressure Switch is a pilot type switch with a 4""WC maximum pilot outlet and 20""WC maximum switch setting. The pressure ranges for the 1996 Series range from 0" WC to 20"WC / 30 psi.
The Dwyer Series 1996 pressure switch, 4-20"WC (DN100) features a polycarbonate housing with an integral diaphragm for protection against corrosion. This pressure switch operates a pneumatic signal device such as an air horn, bell, or the like and is designed to alarm when there is a malfunction of equipment containing hazardous liquid or gas.
"This gas pressure switch is used for regulating pressures above and below atmospheric pressure. It is ideal for controlling the pressure on natural gas, air, steam, hot water and other gases or liquids. It is suitable for use on fresh water systems where higher than atmospheric pressure is required"
Enables quick conversion from a conventional two stage gas pressure switch to the Series 1996 four stage model. This conversion kit contains a Series 1996 4WC pressure switch, a locking bar, and instructions.
The Dwyer Gas Pressure Switch, Series 1996 is designed for manual control of gas/air pressure used to actuate a pilot burner and light an appliance. The switch is available in several pressure ranges allowing us to cover most applications. Each pressure switch features a custom mounting bracket assembly, Throttle lever and 1/2"" male NPT discharge with 7"" cable leads.
The Series 1996 Pressure Switch is specifically designed for use with small gas engines such as those used on pumps or compressors. Features include a four to twenty pounds per square inch (PSI) gauge, stainless steel body and case, silicon diaphragm, and aluminum bonnet.
