The Carrier 297602 EA12SC450 TXV VALVE is designed to work with the Carrier 35ZHXA060, 35ZHXA070 and 35ZHXA090 models.

This low suction thimble gauge/air handler accessory is made for air conditions and central units with a TXV valve whose suction limit has been reached.

Carrier TXV valves are designed to control the temperature of hydronic heating systems through measurement of the return-side stream. These vacuum valves, which must be installed in a tee in the return line, are used for air-based heat pumps and electric resistance heaters. Carrier recommends replacing TXV valves every five years.

The Carrier EA12SC450 TXV valve improves on the proven design of earlier models with an integrated altemative drain valve, a common media filter and 1/2" Water-makeup connection.
