The TXV valve is an Outdoor Air Ventilator (OAV) designed to work with Carrier air conditioners. It helps bring in and circulate outdoor air for efficient cooling.

The Carrier Transicold TXV Valve is used in the evaporator section of domestic air conditioning and refrigeration installations.

This TXV is designed to fit the Carrier models which are manufactured after 1994 and use a non-metallic evaporator coil. It is also used for the make up air side of the 297651 evaporator coil.

The Carrier 297651 EA36UZ122 TXV Valve is designed to reduce the efficiency drop resulting from wear, which can be caused by medium- and high-pressure scroll compressors that use a TXV liquid vaporizer. This Carrier TXV valve is made of stainless steel construction and has helix blades.

Designed for air conditioner and heat pump systems the Carrier 297651 EA36UZ122 TXV Valve introduces refrigerant into the evaporator coil where it cools and becomes a gas. The refrigerant flows to the compressor where it is compressed into a higher-pressure gas. The high-pressure gas enters an expansion valve and is released to the condenser where it condenses back into a liquid. This liquid flows through the copper tubing to the outdoor coil or heat exchanger, where it vaporizes, exchanging its sensible heat and latent heat. The refrigerant then travels back to the indoor evaporator coil,
