WATER REGULATING VALVE

This water regulating valve provides a means for controlling flow to the water heater. The valve is installed on the discharge of the cold-water supply line to the water heater and is adjusted so that it opens when the water rises to about one inch (25 mm) below the tank "shoulder" and stops passing hot water when hot water in the tank falls to about two inches (60 mm) below the tank "shoulder".
