The Carrier 297830 EF32CB212 "1/2""24V SLOW OPEN W/LP KIT VLV" is a direct replacement on Honeywell's line of 1/2" gas valves. This part contains an electromagnetically controlled gas valve that opens and closes by varying voltage supplied to the solenoid valve. When power is removed from the valve, it will close to prevent the gas from escaping and restarting once power is restored.

Carrier's EF-Series dual 24" gate valves with pilot assisted, spring-loaded automatic latch. Also comes standard with manual override and emergency CO2 purge. Assembly, service and repair are all quick and easy with the self-indexing assembly line design of the EF-Series. The compact EF-Series is designed for use on a wide range of residential, light commercial and industrial load applications where slow opening is preferred.

The Carrier gas valve is perfect for those occasions where the contractor wants to open and close the valve with a remote control. A remote control can be used to allow the garage door installation technician to close the door at night for security purposes. When you get up in the morning, simply use your remote from bed or across the room. The air pressure when opening will occur faster than a standard garage door opener.

In conjunction with Carrier Single Point electronic high limit controls (sold separately) and combustion piping rated at 110 psi working pressure, this gas valve allows for simultaneous use of both burners on one unit.
