The Tie Rod is used to adjust the position of a Bow Thruster cable. It is used in conjunction with a 4mm diameter stainless steel wire rope that is placed through the eye at one end of the rod. The other end of the wire rope is attached to the bow thruster control box or to an eye on the bow thruster itself. The rod may be used for adjusting and for locking in place.
