Electronic Single Stage
The Johnson Controls A421AEC-02C electronic temperature control is a 1C device typically used in residential and commercial air conditioning applications. This electronic single stage temperature controls features a SPDT (Single Pole Dual Throw) terminal configuration, and comes with a standard mounting bracket.
The Johnson Controls A421AEC-02C Electronic Two Stage Temp Control is designed for use on all gaseous R-22 refrigerants. The high limit switch has a slightly different design from the standard SPDT (single pole dual throw) and is used in applications where there are multiple stages of cooling to achieve an end temperature because of higher purity requirements or where severe condensate conditions necessitate a cycling action.
The A421AEC-02C is a single stage, two position ON/OFF thermostat, with a SPDT switch. The thermostat may be mounted vertically or horizontally.
With snap-in terminals and a soft dot or "on" indicator to let you know when the A421AEC-02C is engaged, this thermostat is small enough to work in tight spaces or rooms with low ceilings. It comes in a corrosion resistant gray enclosure for reliable performance.
Two speed fan control, Two-stage cooling. Unit has a NEMA type 1 enclosure, for outdoor/ indoor use. 3 wire, 2 fan terminal. Switch lever can be installed on either side. For heat pump or air conditioning applications only.
