The TIP 40A MECH is a premium, quality welding electrode that produces very consistent results on all types of weldable joints. The TIP 40A MECH electrode is great for manufacturing and maintenance applications, as well as field applications where inconsistencies on the weld bead are necessary to obtain.

VQ9-8208 TIP 40A MECH

The TIP40A MECH is a machine designed for stainless steel welding by gas metal arc welding (GMAW) or carbon arc welding (CAW) methods. It uses 1" seam, 4% argon back gas and AC-DC power source to meet the needs of various applications.

The fabricator's choice for the 40 Amp TRIGGER MECH. This is a full featured, solid state electronic ignition with all the usual features: digital display, sound mute function, audible peak voltage check and adjustable trigger sensitivity. The tip 40A mech module is designed to mount in any position. With this module you have arc voltage control down to the hundredth of a volt and current control down to the hundredth of an amp. This module will work on C25 only.

The Tip 40A mech is designed with a high-fuel consumption. A multi segmented wire delivers maximum penetration and minimal distortion. The wire has 3 helically rovings of carbon that provides the necessary amount of strength, hardness, and durability
