The JOHNSON CONTROLS F261KAH-V0 is a SPDT flow switch with 1/2" to 6" pipe replacement connectors. The JOHNSON CONTROLS F261KAH-V0 is commonly used in residential water supply systems, industrial water supply systems, commercial water supply systems, specialized equipment, gas fired boilers and other equipment requiring flow or level switches to control flow or pressure.
The Flow switch is a no-tools install valve replacement to fit the transducer suction tee. This easy-to-install flow sensor can easily be adjusted from 1" to 6" pipe size as needed to fit into the suction connection of almost any transducer. The durable non-corrosive nickel plating offers years of worry free use in fresh or salt water applications.
The F261KAH Series flow switches feature a flex line terminator with a mounting bracket to allow for different installation configurations. The F261KAH series is For use with 1" to 6" rigid pipe and 1/2" female NPT to 1/2" NPT adapter fittings.
The Johnson Controls F261KAH-V0 SPDT Flow Switch is used to sense flow through a pipe. It operates on pressure differential with no moving parts. When the flow of fluid is low, there is little pressure on the lower diaphragm of the switch. The upper diaphragm is then pressed against the spring mechanism, opening the contacts on one side of the switch. This brings power from an external source to an attached device such as an alarm or electrical solenoid valve (sold separately).
Flows of 1" to 6" are repeatable with full on, full off action. Low noise profile of 15 CPM with no air flow switch wear out concerns for extended life. This non-rising stem style switch is designed to eliminate direct contact with moving parts which contributes to extended life. Faceted knob allows the user easy access while maintaining distance from corrosive process fluids. Positive lock nut on threaded stem prevents loosening while handling in confined spaces.
The Johnson Controls F-260 Series Flow Switches provide up to 1/4 horsepower (130 watts) of resistive heating technology in an ultra compact design. The F-260 Series utilizes flanged fittings with standard NPS thread, available for use with mild steel tubing (1/2" through 1-1/4" o.d.) and cast iron pipe (1" through 6" o.d.) for air or liquids temperature ranges of 140ºF through 1150ºF. Applications include electric heat tracing, temperature maintenance, insulation heating, process heating, and others. These flow switches are CE Certified
