The TACH-OMC SYSTEM CHECK incorporates the OMC 2970 with a built in LED display, (no need for any switches), and can be received on various standard Nav/Comm platforms. The TACH-OMC System Check is used to verify that the system is installed correctly and that all components are working properly.

The Tach-Omc System Check gauge is configured with both low and high-speed tachometer displays, an OMC/ Johnson four stroke display, and a mechanical or electronic display. The gauge measures 1.62" in diameter and is available in white or black bezels. The lighted display is clearly visible even in dark engine rooms.

The TACH-OMC is a complete system check tool for the OMC V 8 engines. It allows for more efficient and easier engine testing, while at the same time lowering the cost of repair. The TACH-OMC handles all common test points on these engines, including advance curve checking and sensor testing. Also, a special slave cylinder test port eliminates the need to remove the facings on inboard engines. All connectors are located on the top of the TACH-OMC for easy hook up to your shop diagnostic equipment or office scanner.
