FC172 Ellers are the latest changes to the Schlage Primus High Security family. The new ELLER configuration allows for lever mounting in single cylinder applications and is 1/4" shorter than the traditional Primus double cylinder deadbolt. This change has been well accepted by architects and builders as it allows for easier door construction, reduces installation time and costs, and allows for smaller doorknobs to fit within restricted elevations requirements.
