The Fireye 1/2" Heat Insulator is manufactured with 5/8" fire board and a solid metal gauge. The 1/2" diameter bolt holes are spaced 6" from center to center for maximum support for connecting smoke detectors or monitors. The Fireye 35-69 1/2""Heat Insulator is designed to provide the wall and floor protection required by sprinkler systems. The single-ply, flexible 1/2"" thick rubber makes it a versatile solution for installing in areas to be protected from heat, such as under cooking equipment, freezers, under bar sinks and food serving equipment, and in mechanical rooms.

Our 1/2"" Heat Insulator 33 ft. Schedule 80 Fire Retardant PVC Conduit is designed for use in wiring installations, and for conduit pull box applications up to 20 psig. It offers a high modulus of rupture, superior weatherability and flexibility, impact strength and low smoke emission characteristics.

Fireye 35-69 1/2" Heat Insulator is designed to fit 1/2" pipe. It has a heat resistance of 250 degree F.

The Heat Insulator is one of the most durable 16 gauge, aluminum heat shields in the industry. Constructed of a clear polyester film laminated to galvanized 16 gauge aluminum, and finished with two covers: white (35-69) and black (35-65B). It is also available in an embossed "L" shape (35-68B).
