MAPLE HENNY PENNY F14062 , Sensor-Baso Flame is equipped with flame sensor instead of thermocouple, so it can constantly monitor whether the leg has been lit.

The F14062 features a flame sensor that prevents the gas from flowing to the burner unless lit. The flame sensor will shut off the gas if left unattended for more than 20 minutes. This safety feature is part of what makes Henny Penny cookers safer and more convenient than typical outdoor grills.

The Henny Penny F14062 Flame Sensor is designed to be installed at the air outlet of exhaust fans and is designed to switch off the flame when the temperature in the cooking hood exceeds a pre-set limit. The optical sensor has an extra-long sensing distance and can be coupled with a flame transmitter (see list of compatible transmitters below).

The Safety-Maker lighted ignition device is a small disc or cylinder which is inserted into the tank of a gas stove. It has two connections, one to the fuel supply and one to the gas regulator. When the flame sensor detects a flame from the pilot it connects both these connections leading to a gas supply automatically.
