FITTING-GREASE

The FITTING-GREASE is a replacement drive fitting for the tumbling fittings on Garden Way's range of bolt heads.

FITTING-GREASE is a high quality lubricant that preserves and protects metal to metal joints and bearings. It is formulated from extreme pressure additives and corrosion inhibitors. FITTING-GREASE meets Mil Spec MIL-L-46152 and it is effective from 0°F to 325°F.

Whether it's fitting and sealing a flange to make pipe connections, or applying lubricating grease to moving parts, FITTING-GREASE is the product for the job. Greasing fittings avoids having to use wrenches and "make-shift" methods of cleaning fittings. This helps avoid downtime and unexpected repairs from worn out fittings.

Garden Way Fitting-Grease 65 is a single line country store located on an intersection of two dirt roads in Steuben, Vermont. An old red bay horse barn inspired the architecture and was originally designed to house groceries, a post office box, soda pop fountain and gift shop from which we sold small items such as kerosene lamps and glass children's water bottles.

Fitting Grease is a zinc-free white grease. This grease has the thinnest consistency of any of the Garden Way greases allowing for maximum penetration and lubrication. It will "wick-up" through a hole the size of a pin, providing lubrication to pins, hinges, linkages, etc. This grease doesn't contain any chemicals that would further deteriorate metal components. However Fitting Grease will cause most finishes (including clear coats) that are in contact with hinged parts to oxidize and turn black.
