GAS VALVE - 3/4, LP for ROYAL RANGE - Part# 3115

The small gas valve found on certain ROYAL brand ranges was manufactured to be installed in the 3/4" gas pipe and vent. The valve has a larger 1/8" stem that inserted into the gas supply pipe.
This stem is now made at 3/4" long with new steels and PVC's that have changed over the years.
Here are pictures showing how to modify your existing valve stem to accommodate the change in supply pipe size...

This is a 3/4" valve designed for use with LP Gas for the Royal gas ranges. Model #'s 4953 & 4954.

The Royal Range RVRS3 Gas Valve for 3/4" gas line is the most common size range valve. This gas valve works with most gas grills and ranges with a 3/4" gas connection.

The CAA-approved gas valve will allow you to operate your range in LP in all areas but Vancouver and Victoria. Use your existing gas regulator when installing the valve.

3 1/2" gas valve inlet. 3/4" male flare connection.

The gas valve is the part that sends natural gas or propane into your stove. Aftermarket part replacements are typically most cost effective when purchased directly from the manufacturer.

The stove burners will not light: 1. Ensure that the LP gas tank valve is in the LP position (horizontal) and connected to a working LP gas supply line and LP gas pressure regulator. 3. Replace defective burner assembly. (See Parts List in Service or Retail Manual for part number.)
