This gear motor is constructed of cast iron to mitigate vibration and deliver a smooth, solid performance. For additional protection against moisture and dirt, this gear motor has been designed with greasable gears. The guard shield not only protects the bearings but also hides them from dust and debris. The frame and housing are fabricated from steel, with flanges made of cast iron for maximum strength. The motor has a balanced load design for smooth operation over the entire speed range.

This gear motor is used to drive the large fan that supplies convection air to all Marshall models.
