The GENERAC Guardian (G3) 60-HP 0K2098 model starter contactor relay works with QO circuit breakers and wired to SELV terminals. It can be installed by an electrician and is UL listed.

For more than a decade, the Guardian series of starter contactor relays has been used with great success and by electricians across the country. These relays have not changed - they still provide years of trouble-free service and come with GENERAC'S standard two-year warranty - but now the electrical connections are easier to make and the corresponding part numbers are more consistent.

The Guardian relay can handle loads of up to 30 amps at 120 volts, and features a built-in overload protection switch that immediately cuts off power if the load becomes too great. The shielded cover prevents damage or shorts. The relay has a molded case that resists shock and vibrations for improved durability.

The GENERAC Guardian STARTER CONTACTOR Relay is used in the electronic control board to activate and deactivate the START function on the generator.

The GENERAC Guardian starter contactor relay is used as part of the AC start and run circuit from a generator transfer switch for use on construction equipment, forklifts, watercraft, golf carts and other industrial or utility applications.

Our starter contactor just arrived to replace the old one but we don't have the manual and not sure if we are doing it right. I do not want to start the generator until I confirm that I have installed the new starter relay. The control panel is plastic but looks to be pretty simple.
