Air Filters should be replaced every time your generator is used. A dirty air filter will put unnecessary strain on your generator. GENERAC recommends that the air filter be replaced at every annual service check and/or any other time the air filter housing is opened for servicing. There are two (2) different style air filters for the QP portable generators. Please order based on the type of housing you have.
