Use the 96806135 Isolation Valve Kit 3/4""swt" for installing an indirect water heater on an already pre-heated system without losing the existing circuit's pre-heating.

The Grundfos isolation valve kit 3/4"swt converts a lower pump into a booster system. This valve can reduce noise and vibrations.

This item is used for shutting down isolated circulations systems during maintenance. It provides the switchgear with an acceptable means to isolate an electrical, mechanical or thermal component from the power supply. To be installed in steam, water and natural-gas pipelines with a nominal diameter of 3/4""swt"

Should be installed in non-flammable environments and where flammable vapors may occur. If used as a replacement for a pre-existing isolation valve, the original 3/4"" stainless steel bypass valve must be replaced with a 3/4"" gluetight solenoid valve from the same manufacturer as the pump.

Isolation valves enable the water to be turned off, isolating a hot water system from the cold water supply. When boiler isolation valves are turned to the "off" position, all water flowing from the main can be shut off from there as well, thus eliminating the need for individual shut-off valves for each device.
