Horrible House Pets is a two- to six-player game in which each player owns a house and all the pets that reside in that house. Players compete with other players' "horrible pets" in events such as dog-eating contests and to determine the pet with the most "staying power."

The Horrible House Pets boxed game is designed for families, team building exercises, school classroom use, and trivia games. The game contains 50 cards with questions. If your answer is correct you move ahead the question number indicated on the top of the card. If your answer is incorrect you move back by that same number. At the end of the game the player with the least amount of moves wins.

Cards can be played in front of you, either on your face down stack or in the center of the table. When a card is played, it's text takes affect and is added to your Abomination! Keep building that creature until you reach the required amount of goal cards! The first player to collect 7 goal cards wins!
