125-165F AUTO Limit Switch

This 125-165F AUTO Limit Switch is a momentary type, limit switch, which is used to stop the movement of an air conditioning condenser fan when setting temperature and cooling with a thermostat.

Versatile, electronic control features a heat alarm which goes off when water reaches the set temperature of 125-165°F. An adjustable manual reset button is included for safety. The thermal limit switch places a load on the electrical supply to cut off power should the heating element fail or should a mechanical fault occur with the operating components. Fully TOL/CSA and CE approved; UL listed. 12-25VDC.

The Carrier Limit Switch uses a metal sealed thermal element. The throw on the trip stem is adjustable, allowing the operator to set the device from OFF-ON-OFF, or part ON-OFF-ON. The thermal device may also be used as an Auto/Hold switch.

The NEMA LH Series of limit switches are specifically designed for both horizontal and vertical mounting. The spring-loaded, normally-closed blade provides adjustment of the opening (ON-OFF function) at the end of travel, while the pull-to-make features allows adjustment of the point in cycle where a reversal from ON to OFF is necessary.

Automatic shut-off should limit switch failure when medium is frozen.

Limit switch is designed to sense the position of a valve stem, a shaft or cam follower. It operates the same as a safety switch which immediately interrupts power to the motor if a condition of non-operation or overload exists. The main difference in function is that the limit switch will reset autonomously after its components have had sufficient time to cool.
