The Carrier Outdoor Air Sensor measures temperature and humidity and wires to any Carrier Infinity, Performance or Energy Star-rated indoor air handler to protect against short cycling and offer reduced energy consumption.

The Carrier Outdoor Air Sensor is a revolutionary air sensor that lets you know when to change your air filter. When installed, the sensor detects when indoor air quality is potentially impacted by outside air. The sensor sends alerts via a transmitter to a display unit in the home, which can be placed in the kitchen, laundry room or other areas of the home where it can easily be read. The display unit features a graph that helps you determine when your filter needs changing based on the level of outside air infiltration into the home.
