This contactor includes an internal thermal overload protection that prevents overheating and overloading problems, a 10-minute delay to protect circuits from back feed, and for added safety it has no external connections.

The Carrier 299261 is a 2 pole 15 amp C/B rated contactor designed for use with series furnaces in residential H.V.A.C and R.I.A. applications. This product features thermally protected contacts, bus tie and power box terminals, a voltage code marking system to prevent miswirings, an aluminum body that reduces the weight of the contactor while increasing resistance to corrosion, and is cULus listed and NRTL listed and certified.
