Broan-NuTone Standard Bath Fan

Label placement: Remove the grille by pulling it down about 2 inches. Reach behind the grille and then squeeze the mounting springs to remove the grille. The model label is usually situated at the corner that is closest to the outlet. Some of the fans may have the model stamped into the motor plate instead of a printed sticker label.

Cleaning, Maintenance and Operation

For quiet and efficient operation and long life, lower or remove the fan grille and vacuum the interior of the fan using a dusting brush attachment.

The motor is permanently lubricated and does not require to be oiled. Whenever the motor bearings make an unusual noise, replace the motor using the exact service motor. The impeller should also be replaced at this point.

To remove the blower assembly, follow the instructions provided in the owner’s guide. Then use an on/off switch or speed control to operate this Broan ventilator.
