How Do You Install The Danze Shower Cartridge?
Since 2010, Danze has put labels on faucets to identify them after installation. Look for them on the underside of the handles, attached to the supply hoses, attached to in-wall valves, or behind the escutcheons on in-wall valves.
Installing the Danze Shower Cartridge:
- First remove any existing plumbing fixtures, such as faucets, valves, etc. Then connect the water supply line to the new Danze shower cartridge using the included hose adapter.
- Next, turn off the main water supply valve located at the bottom of the sink. Turn on the cold water supply valve located near the top of the sink. Connect the hot water supply line to the showerhead (if desired).
- Turn on the cold water tap and adjust the temperature until you reach the desired setting. Adjust the flow rate if necessary.
- Finally, turn on the hot water tap and adjust the flow rate until you reach the desired settings. You may need to use a wrench to tighten the mounting screws.

How to Test a Danze Shower Cartridge
In order to ensure proper operation of your Danze shower cartridge, we recommend testing it periodically. If you notice any unusual noises coming from the shower, check the pressure of the water before turning on the shower. If there is no pressure, try adjusting the water pressure control knob.
