The BB75G is a rear discharge, diaphragm type, float style carburetor with automatic idle mixture and choke control for portable engines. It is equipped with throttle valve type pilot air-inlet check valves. The design of the valves makes reverse flow or recirculation impossible within the throat. Throttle valve linings are constructed of Buna R rubber and conform to Federal Specifications T-R-2510B Type 1, Class A.

The BB75G is a carburetor. Carburetors are an integral part of the fuel metering system on all engines. A carburetor's main function is to mix gasoline with air in the correct ratio for combustion.
