SPRING, GOVERNOR

The Spring,Governor is a standard aftermarket part that fits on your Honda 16561-Z0L-900. It is compatible with Honda models such as Civic and CR-V. The inventory of parts includes the original parts from many manufacturers so you get quality products. This part comprises of weight and torque specs, diagrams and dimensions of all parts included in the assembly. It also comes with an installation guide for easy installation of you Honda 16561-Z0L-900.

The Governor Spring located at the back of the connecting rod for a model Z engine.

The governor spring keeps the engine running at a constant speed.

This is a genuine OEM Honda part. Scooters manufactured up to October 2004 used this governor spring as standard. After that time, the design of the engine changed and this spring could be retrofitted by swapping out the orientation on the old spring.

The Honda GX100 & GX200 Engines use a flywheel mounted centrifugal governor to regulate the engine speed, which in turn controls the output RPM and adjusts power output. A governor spring with an incorrect deflection may cause the engine to over-speed uncontrollably. This spring is used in model years 2003 through 2005.

Lift the lid on our unique Honda Engine Spring. It simulates the normal tension of a Honda GS160 engine spring, but can be easily removed from the vehicle for inspection and maintenance.
