This engine cylinder hone is a Flex 3-1/2in. 180 grit.

Engine cylinder hone 3-1/2 inch 180 grit flex set. This engine cylinder hone is 3-1/2 inch overall length, one side is file, the other is solid fiber. It has a flexible design and will easily conform to curves and contours of the head and cylinder head face. The large 180 grit flexibility makes this unit ideal for surfacing and blending engines with oversize bore dimensions.

This three-and-a-half inch diameter 180 grit flex engine cylinder hone will clean concave, convex and flat surfaces. The flexible shaft allows you to hone near rocker arm pedestals, push rods and aluminum heads. The screen holder allows you to visually monitor your progress during the grinding process. This Flex Engine Cylinder Hone can be used with a 612 arbor (#101353), or you can use the chuck on a power drill for extra speed. With its 8in flexible shaft, this cylinder hone reaches areas that longer ones cannot.

The 3 1/2in. Flex Engine Cylinder Hone is for use with small engines up to 20 HP and features an exposed flexible disk that conforms to inside of the cylinder bore. Perfect for removing scratches and surface imperfections, this hone is available in coarse, medium, fine or extra fine grits. The 180 grit flex hone is most effective on newly honed cylinders.
