The Honeywell 1/2 inch Pneumatic Radiator Valve, 2.0 Cv is a radiator valve for pneumatic controllers in heating and air conditioning systems. The valve is made with maximum performance in mind and is constructed from material that allows a high flow rate of air at low pressure.
The Honeywell 11496 Pneumatic Radiator Valve features an all metal construction and includes mounting hardware in a protective plastic case. The valve has a 2.0 cfm maximum flow with a 4.0 Cv, which makes this product valuable to have for any mechanical system that requires radiator valves.
The 2.0 CV valve controls the flow of water to a domestic radiator boiler by consuming the i-010 (0.1 bar) pressure signal from a Honeywell thermostatic mixing valve. Honeywell thermostatic mixing valves are required to control domestic boiler operation in combination with an 11496 1/2 Inch Pneumatic Valve.
This Honeywell 1/2 in. Pneumatic Radiator Valve has a 2.0 cfm delivery of water and is designed for Commercial, Industrial and Institutional type applications.
To reduce cost and installation time, the new VP525C1040 is also available as a kit that includes an inlet manifold with two NPT ports, and two 1/2 in. quick connect hose connections. The valve can be mounted vertically or horizontally within the manifold box.
The Honeywell 1/2 in. pneumatic radiator valve is ideal for pressurizing hot water or process systems with low-pressure steam up to 2000 psi, at temperatures up to 180 deg. F (82 deg. C). The product features an adjustable relief valve setting that provides steady shut off at any pressure between 10 and 40 psi above set point when the valve is open to pressure.
