The Honeywell 1434 is a thermostatic radiator actuator with remote temperature sensing and separate set point control. This radiant floor heat controller continuously monitors the room temperature from up to 50' away via a sensor or signals and will adjust the furnace on and off to maintain the desired temperature. It can also be used for applications such as zone heating, unoccupied heat control, time clocks, and freeze protection. It operates on relays for on / off control and can control up to 3 zones with the proper wiring.

The Honeywell 1434 Thermostatic Radiator Actuator is designed for use with baseboard heaters or furnaces including hydronic and electric baseboard heaters. This thermostatic radiator valve has a separate temperature sensing and set point devices allowing the room thermometer to read the current room temperature, eliminating temperature variations which create uncomfortable drafts. The thermostatic radiator actuator effectively controls the temperature of rooms up to 500 sq. ft.
