Used in applications that use a control circuit or automated system to control equipment, this controlling power cable is made with 24 AWG stranded copper conductors with the industry standard 2-wire plus ground number 2 insulation and CL2P jacket.

This control cable has one 2-conductor, 20AWG, 18/2 size PVC insulated and jacketed copper wire conductors with PVC insulation. The copper conductors are color-coded blue and white. It is a 2 conductor, twisted covered wire terminated with two 22awg lead wires, bare copper stranded. The 1000', CL2P designates that this is the CSA type CL2P second level construction rating. This cable passes either UL 884 or NFPA 262. The C2 defines the insulation as BX in all 6 AWG sizes in "UL Listed" and "Underwriters

Control cable, CL2P, connects the control line to the light fixture and is UL listed for in-wall installation.
