The Honeywell WT8840B1500 Gas Valve is a white standing pilot with piezo ignitor for gas water heaters and faucets. The valve features a 7/8 in. (22 mm) overtravel inlet, 1-1/16 in. (27 mm) orifices, and brass seat assembly with PGA stem.

The Honeywell WT8840B1500 is a Water Heater standing pilot with piezo water valve, compatible with 55 or 155 gallon water heaters.

This Standing Pilot Water Heater Valve assembly, is for use with all Honeywell and compatible standing pilot zones (see application guide). It has a spud for 2" gas piping. The zone valve has a 5" wide x 2-1/2" deep x 4-1/2 deep well. The thermostatic type pilot is factory set.

An innovative standing pilot light with swivel base lets you position the light in four directions, so no matter where you grip the handle, it's easy to check the cover plate for moisture or dirt. This model can be installed on tanks as large as 55 gallons or up to 155 gallons, and it features an indicator light that alerts you if there is a gas leak.

The Piezo water heater has a sensitive tip for instant heat and a rubber anti-vibration mount. Adjustable needle valve that controls the ignition and burns the pilot clean and bright. The nozzle is angled for easy access to the pilot assembly.
