The 3/8"x1/4" barb coupling features a threaded brass male to barbed brass female. These push-to-connect barbed fittings make for an easy installation and disassembly, minimizing leakage and ensuring you get the proper connection the first time. This fitting is used for joining polyethylene tubing up to 1/2" in diameter, or connecting two ½ inch pipes together.

The Barb is used to cap off a hose or duct size to protect from contamination and reduce leakage. It is designed to work with 1/4" and 3/8" O.D. Hose Banbury Fittings, Barbs, Elbows, Tees and Reducers.

With their exceptional strength and resistance to heat, corrosion, and wear, BARBED couplings are ideal for high-pressure/high-temperature applications, in the petroleum and natural gas industries. BARBED couplings are manufactured with a hexagonal socket machined into one pipe end which is inserted into a uniquely shaped hexagonal bore on adjoining pipe. These quick connect assembly kits makes it easy to assemble and remove connectors when working in tight places. The barb is used to attach the tubing to a fitting or valve.
