The Honeywell Pressuretrol is an air pressure controller designed for vertical steam boilers. It has a differential adjustment range of 1 psi to 5 psi applied to the high limit switch. It is used in applications where a pressure switch that turns on and off the boiler is not needed, because the main control valve is directly connected to the burner manifold. The Pressuretrol will maintain a constant pressure in the system despite changes in the load so that capacity adjustments are no longer required from one part of the operation to another.
