The Safety Valve Cover RP13XL is the original replacement valve cover for the following gas water heaters:

The RP13XL Valve Cover, a component of the basic system, is designed to be space saving. The resulting reduction in size and weight of the gas control valve allows a light and compact design as compared to conventional valve covers. The distinguishing feature of this Valve Cover is the flexible sealant ? a high temperature expanded PTFE film ? which reliably seals the valve cover to the body during operation at high temperatures. This Valve Cover incorporates improved sealing performance while maintaining advantageous compactness achieved by eliminating the gasket.

The RP13XL is a replacement valve cover and cap for the WS14 series safety products. The RP13XL protects the gas valve of WS14 series safety products against damage and accidental turning on while the device is not in use. The pressure-relief design allows the RP13XL to vent explosive gases safely if it is installed improperly or if it fails.

Safety covers protect operators and visitors from hazards during maintenance or testing of pressure equipment. This safety cover is constructed of industrial grade reinforced plastic with an attached flame retardant vapour barrier. The cover is UV resistant for long life in outdoor service and has a large clear bubble window for the viewing of gauges, meters or trip devices. To ensure proper fit, this cover fits the RP13XL valve used on Round Tank Series 14400 water heaters and other similar tanks.

The SAFETY PRODUCTS RS1400VALVE COVER protects serviceperson's hands from exposure to RP13, RPI3 and RPI4 gas. The cover is for use with the 3 1/2" Honeywell safety products safety relief valve.
