The Honeywell TC500 Wireless Comm Stat is a high-tech thermostat that's ready to go right out of the box. It has a built-in room sensor, a backlit display panel and a wireless receiver for monitoring rooms up to 2,000 sq ft. The stat features four season comfort settings including an Energy Saver mode.

Throughout the building, temperature is calculated using information gathered from temperature sensors that send readings to wireless control units called temperature transmitters (or TSTATs). These devices then send the temperature readings to room thermostats, located in each room. From there, the programmable set point for each room is determined by the building system controller, like the Honeywell VISTA TC500 .
