DAY-NITE adjustable light control inserts are for use with the F941 and F941-528 temperature controls that display numerics on a satin chrome scale. The Inserts are easy to install by layering over the bright white portion of the scale. The insert is then folded under the control face plate and held in place with two clear plastic fasteners. These inserts can be installed on any fahrenheit scale and are meant as a night time version of the standard bright white insert.

Honeywell ' day-nite ' window inserts are for use on the fahrenheit scale, 9-indoor/outdoor thermometer -25 to 120 deg. C temperature- and are white when in the inside position and black when in the outside position."

COMBO SUN/MOON The DAY-NITE Sun/Moon feature allows a choice of two different shades of backlit inserts based on whether the day or night temperature is displayed. During the day, the RED inserts provide maximum contrast for day viewing. At night, WHITE inserts are ideal for low-light conditions and allow you to see the outside temperature when lighting is dimmed to reduce eyestrain.

The day-nite temperature display window is easily installed to convert most Satin Chrome (TP971) thermometers into a combined Fahrenheit and Celsius scale thermometer. The day-nite window, commonly used in Europe, allows you to read the temperature in both F and C."
