SPIN WELD DRIVER, 1 1/4 PATCH

The ICON 398-12479 Spin Weld Driver is a small diameter, one inch wellpoint drive designed for use with a variety of tubing and wellpoints. The 1 1/4" patch on the drive body ensures that tubing is held in place. The stainless steel shaft and threaded end cap provide connection flexibility.

The #398-12479 SPIN WELD DRIVER is designed for floor and wall patching on seats, aluminum armor and tankheads for Vulcan™, Dominator™ and Fury™ brand welding machines. It is compatible for Vulcan™ welding machine models 199, 200, 3000, 6000 and 8000 as well as the Fury™ welding machine models 5000LP+, 5500, 6000LPLP+ and 7000.

The ICON Spin Weld Driver reduces the amount of time it takes to drive a 1 1/4"-diameter plug by 50%. The innovative "side-spin" action, coupled with downward pressure, allows the driver bit to penetrate the base metal, avoiding the buildup of excessive heat that can cause cracking and open porosity. This eliminates the need for preheating and requires less torque to drive deep into base material. The 2-piece design offers less down time for replacements, allowing you to finish your projects faster!

The JD 1-1/4" spin weld driver has a one piece hardened steel body, heated treat bayonet tip and spinner shaft.

The ICON Spin Welder/Driver for 1 1/4" Sq. Tube uses ICON's patented PURE-PLEX 80 Amp ESP drive circuitry for providing high shock absorption, superior arc stability and fast arc starting in a lightweight and compact system. The OPTI-ARC 2 sensors with a double line of sight feature to ensure consistent, accurate welds every time. Integrated Grounding is provided by the weld gun frame, not by screws as commonly found in other systems.
