The Igniter,Hot Surface is an ignitor installed on a burner/burner tube in an outdoor cooking appliance, carrier oil furnace unit or boiler unit to ignite fuel/products at the hot surface.

The Igniter Cord of the Hot Surface Burner is very easy to connect since it has an adjustable connection system.  The Igniter Cord is made out of a light weight material which allows for different connections.  The material has a high resistance against breakage, but this does not mean that it can harden or resist the galvanic corrosion.

Always have a spare igniter on hand. The NIECO hot surface igniter is ideal for residential, commercial and industrial applications that use natural gas or propane. This optional item is specially designed to replace a defective hot surface igniter.

With the Ignitor, you can complete hot surface ignition and power up to 38 kW within seconds. Based on the popular model, this ignition system is now even lighter and more compact thanks to a combination of aluminum housing and stainless steel.

This igniter is our replacement for the Uniflame A24T or UF99300A The part number above should be printed on the igniter or stamped on the plastic case.

We offer a full line of Nieco replacement igniters. You will find that some models have several different igniter part numbers listed. This is because there are different variations available for components, such as red or green handle, red or white button, etc. If you do not see the igniter you require it may mean that it is a very early model and no longer available. The neon igniter is a catalyst for combustion, which occurs when the gas and air mixture in the furnace reaches combustion temperatures. The igniter surface glows a bright red when it starts the combustion process. The red glow disappears when the temperature of the flame decreases. If you have an oil burner, and you have noticed that your heating oil supply running low more frequently, it is possible that your igniter may be faulty.
