This is a terrific gift set that I purchased in Japan. The bottles are nice and heavy and very much like ceramic—they have the look and feel of high quality. There is no mistaking the designer quality of this product. It was a gift so I can tell you nothing about the smell, except to say that it came in original Issey Miyake packaging.
