The 282-B CapMount Adapter connects your 282-B Hard Hat to the Jackson Safety® CapMount System and allows you to mount it to your hard hat.

A cap mount is a combination of an earmuff and earcup designed to provide hearing protection from the noise levels with out significantly impeding the wearer's ability to hear. The 282-B Capmount Adapter is designed to fit universal cap mount ear muffs. The adapter has a valley on one side for a hard hat adjustment wheel, and is flat on the other side to facilitate adaption of any straight ear cup.

The CAPMOUNT Adapter by Jackson Safety® is a quick way to mount hard hat models 282 and 282G (Zero G) to helmet models 101B, 152B, and 153B.

The Jackson Safety Cap Mount Adapter, used with the 282-B face shield, is a polycarbonate adapter designed to position a variety of safety glasses. An innovative dual D-ring design allows the user to firmly locate the adapter on the helmet and yet still provide easy adjustment. This adapter is designed for use with all models of Jackson Safety Faceshields, except 282-B which has an integrated adapter built into the lens housing.

This Jackson Safety Standard Capmount Adapter allows the use of non-Jackson Safety MSA approved Halos and Alcor Micro-AKIs as an alternative to the Jackson Safety capmount system. The adapter is easily mated to any Jackson boltless helmet using standard wrench and screwdriver operation. It is not necessary to permanently modify an existing non-Jackson safety capmount system by drilling or punching holes in the helmet shell.
