The Johnson Controls T-4506-201 Da Pneumatic Thermostat, 85F to 55F, Dual Temperature is designed for use with gas or oil forced hot air furnace systems. It provides a steady heat to the building with faster recovery from intermittent heat loss. It senses the temperature of the blower output and senses it to modulate gas or oil flow to maintain a constant temperature. This device is designed for horizontal mounting.

This 55- to 85-degree Fahrenheit pneumatic thermostat will control a wide range of air temperature applications. The top temperature limit is factory set at 85 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent over-temperature damage to the thermostat's body and contacts. A double pole, double throw design provides separate controlled air supply and return air supply terminals.

Designed for low voltage pneumatic heat tracing applications. A snap action, vertically-hole type subminiature thermostat that has a sensing element that is built into the knob of the housing. It is hermetically sealed, electrically insulated and air tight. ItÂ’s vertical hole, through which wire is led to impinge on the metallic contact disc, assures good electrical contact. The disc is spring biased toward the closed position and rotates or pivots when in contact with a closing object. Available in two probe lengths: 1/2" and 3/4".

The T-4506-201 thermostat is sensor deflection type thermostat that senses and controls downstream suction and vapor temperatures on systems where the cooling load is primarily on the suction line. The T-4506-201 also provides a secondary cascade control circuit on some applications, and may be used on some heating applications. The double pole on/off actuator is supplied with a single lead to the low temperature limit switch.

This thermostat has a non-adjustable two-position snap switch and a low voltage terminal block. It uses a 1/4" NPT female inlet and exhaust connections. The thermostat is positioned horizontally and the switch cover is part of the thermostat cover. The thermostat turns off when you reach the desired temperature and turns on as soon as it drops below the set point. The heating element, fan, or pump will remain on for this return period unless other features such as an alarm or setback occur first. JHA46
