SIGNAL TRANSMITTER
The Johnson Controls C-5226-3 is a signal transmitter that's made for use with four and five groove propane gas valves. It features a red/yellow lens and includes an indexing ring for positive indication of left hand or right hand rotation.
The signal transmitter is most commonly used in combustion and process control applications.
The Johnson Controls C-5226-3 Transmitter is a self contained motor starter providing voltage to motors and heaters, and is an application of the C-5221 signal transmitter that utilizes a push pull switch and push button. The unit has a high-speed travel motor for medium and high volume air conditioning and heating control. The light weight MTP50 plastic case is molded with quick connect terminals for reduced installation time.
The Johnson Controls C-5226-3 Transmitter, Prop, Dir Acting Ratio1, 1, draws a pilot signal from a pilot meter and sends it to a positioner/actuator. This transmitter will drive multiple pilot assemblies from 1 pilot meter. The pilot signal is sent to the pilot assembly through a ½" NPT conduit or field installed pilot tube. This pilot tube or an individual pilot line may be connected to a series of pilot distributors.
When the signal is lost the ACCU-PREPOVERSIONED ACTUATOR provides a warning and returns to zero. Power output can be increased from 500 watts to 3 kW. IEC type testing available. Ratio/Index Actuators provide positive control of air valves or dampers protecting against false cycling due to turbulence or excessive pressures. In the case of a loss of signal, the actuator provides a warning and returns to zero.
The Johnson Controls C-5226-3 Transmitter, Prop, Dir Acting Ratio1, 1 emits a signal between 0 and +10Vcc. This is a 120V AC transmitter with a 0 to 10VDC output. It is used to control the operation of oil and steam valves. It may also be used to measure pressure or temperature in an industrial process and convert these values into pneumatic valve control signals. The transmitter may be mounted on the device whose condition is to be monitored, such as a steam pressure gauge, or an electric resistance heating element in an industrial process.
SWITCH POWER SUPPLY 124Vac, 10A
The Johnson Controls C-5226-3 Transmitter with Prop, Dir, and Ratio sensors plus display is compatible with the following building control systems: 6621 6651 6655 6675 C-Series Commercial Building Control Systems. This transmitter will work on most Johnson Controls commercial air conditioning or heat pump equipment that utilizes a three wire potentiometer.
The Johnson Controls transmitter is ideal for installation in water wells. Because of its compact size, it can be installed at various depths or distances from the pit. This transmitter uses a built-in potentiometer to aid in groundwater level detection. It has three switch positions: On/Off, Transmitter Powering, and Resetting the Water Level Setting. It also features a self-resetting cutout device to protect against severe water level fluctuations.
The Johnson Controls Universal Acoustical Probe is a transmitter unit that uses sound waves to test sound transmission through acoustical panel systems, partitions, ceilings and floor/ceiling assemblies. The probe is used with a decibelmeter and readout and the probe and decibelmeter is connected with a line cord.
Plug the Johnson Controls C-5226 into any propane gas grill and precisely monitor and control the flame. The easy-to-read LED display and settings for high, medium and low heat help you control grilling temperatures easily.
