SplitCore Adjustable current sensing relays are designed to sense low level current flow. When the current increases above the normal level the relay can be adjusted to turn on the contactor without activity in the external sensing circuit. SplitCore series relays are available in standard and self powered models. The following table shows which SplitCore models can be used with each of our standard sensing coils.
The CSD-CA1G0-1 is a split core current sensing relay, which provides visual indication of the large amount of power flowing through the circuit by lighting a green LED indicator. This Current Sensing Relay is rated for use at 600VAC, 1A max trip and 2 watts/142Watt max coil power. The CSD-CA1G0-1 can be used in applications up to 135 Amps.
The CSD-CA1G0-1 Current Sensing Relay is a self-powered, split core relay designed to sense, interrupt, and reset electrical current in electrical systems. It is ideal for industry and commercial applications including those requiring a higher energy rating.
The Current Sensing Relay provides solid state protection for sensitive equipment by preventing damage caused by current overloads and errors. The CSR1G0-1 uses a split core, which makes it easy to evaluate current and voltage simultaneously using only one input. To ensure consistent relaying with minimal added current draw, the CSR1G0-1 is designed to avoid device degradation when used in standby mode.
This product converts a 115 Vac current to a dc voltage proportional to the current, and drives it to a remote device. The primary of the Current Sensing Relay (CSD) is connected in series with the circuit to be monitored. When the circuit current increases above the nominal setpoint, the relay contacts close and provide an indication at a remote location where a monitor line is provided. The relay remains on as long as the overcurrent condition exists. Unbalanced currents or reversed phase are indicated by an open contact on the Relay Out terminal.
The CSD-CA1G0-1 Current Sensing Rly senses, monitors, and controls the flow of electricity in electric motors, fans, pumps, compressors, and other applications that use current-sensing protective relays (CSRs). It is a direct replacement current sensing relay for older designs and is compatible with new motor systems and is UL pending.
The Current Sensing Relay is a Silicon controlled rectifier connected in series with a load and powered from line voltage. It is used in conjunction with a Solid State Relay and sense coil to control loads which vary significantly in current draw, as in soldering operations, or to monitor current usage in process control applications. The sensitivity of the CSD-CA1G0A series contacts has been increased to meet these demands.
