SolidCoreAdj1aLED NoRelayOutpt

The CSD-SA1E0-1 Current Sensing Relay is used to monitor current or voltage in low-voltage, high-current loops. The electronics consist of LED and Current Transformer (CT) sensing circuitry that turns ON the relay if there is an overload or short to ground. The FEATURES section emphasizes why a customer should choose the product:  "SolidCoreTM Adj1aLED NoRelayOutpt"  (Adj_ Solid _Core!_Adj1_a_LED _NoRelayOutput).

This Johnson Controls Current Sensing Relay, 1-135A, Self-Powered, SolidCore LED provides a highly visible indication of the status of the load or connected piece of equipment. The advantages included auto-sensing function which can be triggered by any AC current in the circuit. There is no need to use auxiliary devices to warn of overloads. This device is a solid state relay with an LED indicator for fast response and easy installation. Two RJ45 ports are included for communication with remote status monitors.

The CSD-SA1E0-1 SolidState Current Sensing Relay, 1A to 135A, Self Powered helps electricians and maintenance personnel diagnose and troubleshoot diverse problems on a range of systems. It allows them to measure current directly at the point of use, facilitating fault detection and eliminating concerns about unauthorized or unnecessary power interruptions caused by electrical appliances that may be located remotely from the controller. The CSD-SA1E0-1 device is a current sensing version of the CSD-SL8.

The CSD-SA1E0-1 is a solid-state current sensing relay that converts low-, medium- or high-level AC or DC current to 1- or 2-stage Heidenhain solid state relays. The relays can be directly mounted on the output terminals of many electric motors and generators where signal levels are not sufficient to interface with a standard solid state relay. A built in LED display provides feedback for each relay during operation and the setup process.

The CSD relay family is designed to sense voltage drops and draw currents in an electrical circuit. This family also includes LED outputs that are powered directly by the output current sensing inputs and can be used to provide visual fault indications. The CSD relay provides automatic adjustment of its drive level in response to changes in load current, controllable via a Sense signal input. The CSD-SAxxx-1 (MF) communicates with the SmartSlot card using industry standard I2C protocol at rates up to 400kHz.

The CSD-SA1E0-1 Current Sensing Relay features a compact size and 1 to 135 amp rating, making it ideal for protecting sensitive power supplies, motor control circuits, and other devices from dangerous overload conditions. It contains an internal potentiometer that is used to set the trip point, providing 0% to 145% of rated current. Using the input and output connections activates the self-test feature of the relay, which works to confirm operation.

The CSD-SA1E0-1 current sensing relay is designed to offer flexible operation in a single channel DC electrical environment. The CSD line of solid-state relays is ideally suited for use in applications such as HVAC, electronic security and industrial control. When utilizing smaller power supplies, the CSD line of relays can be used by themselves or paired with another CSD relay to provide 2, 4 or even 8 ON/OFF operations.
