The P28DN-4 controller is a DC proportional valve, float operated control with Large ON/OFF L.E.D., min. temp rise switch (switches OFF when setpoint is reached), and alarm contacts . The unit has an R22 refrigerant charge range of 90/70# and a low cool feature allowing the system to be cooled down below the setpoint before compressor restarts.

Each P28DN-4 control mounted valve includes a manual drain and two poppet-type oil drains, with an alarm/filter assembly and pneumatic tube kit.

The Johnson Controls P28DN4 series is a monitoring station used for the control and protection of refrigeration equipment. The P28DN4 monitors up to four refrigerant circuit oils. The two 4-20mA inputs monitor the low oil level (LOL) switch and the 20 PSIG pressure switch. The two 24VDC outputs are set to trigger a shutdown when conditions warrant (for example, when the LOL switch fails). There is also an alarm setpoint and an optional visual annunciator.
