CurrentSensingRelay 30v H-800
Add more external access points for your Johnson Controls systems with the CurrentSensingRelay 30v H-800. This allows you to place some of your controls outside of your space, while still being able to monitor their performance. This solid state relay measures up to 3 amps, 330 volts ac or dc, and 8 amps dc. As someone who relies on your climate control system, you can have peace of mind knowing that this extra line of protection is in place against potential current overloads.
Choose the CurrentSensingRelay 30v H-800 for installations where control devices need to reduce the overall size and weight of an HVAC system. Each relay can measure up to 800 Amps, so it is more than suitable for heavy industrial applications. Our CurrentSensingRelays are ETL Listed, which means that they conform to American National Standards Institute requirements. A UL rating would not be issued because these relays are not used in fire protection systems. Each relay also includes a thermal overload protection switch that will automatically trip it to prevent overheating if the relay is taxed beyond its ability.
The CurrentSensingRelay 30V H-800 is designed to withstand harsh environments. If the load exceeds the selected rating, the CurrentSensingRelay trips off.
The Johnson Controls™ CurrentSensingRelay 30V H-800 is a 40A hardwired relay with current sensing. The CurrentSensingRelay™ allows the user to sense load current feedback at the terminal block, for maximum energy savings. The built in load current sensor gives the user the advantage of knowing how much power is being used based on instantaneous current draw, taking into account reactive energy costs. The CurrentSensingRelay™ is isolated right at the source of power, allowing for efficient overcurrent protection with minimum losses. It also eliminates the need for external temperature compensation circuitry.
The CurrentSensingRelay H-800(30v) is a solid state switching device used in the control systems for certain refrigerant compressors and blowers. It employs an external magnetic field for sensing switch activation, and automatically switches on when the load current rises above a preset value. An audible click is heard upon its operation, and the normally open contacts remain closed even if power to the relay is removed.
The CurrentSensingRelay H-800 - the easiest way to sense current in any building or industrial application. This combination relay/contactor allows you to sense both severity and direction of current flow, or be used to switch up to 800 amps at 30V DC. The H-800 features a built-in self test, contact ratings to carry up to 10A, and can carry resistive loads up to 15KW. This device is designed for use in hazardous locations, UL listed Class 2 Divisions 1 & 2 Groups A, B, C, D, Class II Groups E, F & G.
Get years of reliable operation in your application. Count on the CurrentSensingRelay...

The Johnson Controls CurrentSensingRelay is an overload protector that protects your valuable equipment.
The R310AD-1 CurrentSensingRelay controls up to 800 amp loads, and is used with Johnson Controls' programmable controls and instrumentation. It is compatible with virtually all electronic control systems, and meets the changing needs of your facility. It is UL and cUL listed.
The CurrentSensingRelay (CSR) detects and controls the presence of DC currents in single-phase and three-phase power circuits. It functions like a traditional current relay by switching current flow on or off, but it also monitors current levels and alerts you when they exceed or fall below pre-set levels. The CSR draws less than 0.5 mA, has a sensing range of 30 to 800 amps (0.3 to 80 A), and monitors voltage up to 600 V for use with multiple loads and various types of electrical equipment.
Designed to monitor and protect electric hot water panels from overheating. This relay is designed for fast response times and ensures the panels stay within a safe temperature range.
