This damper is part of the Johnson Controls Commercial Building Automation (CBA) product line. It is a round control damper with no actuator. It serves as a control damper for temperature and ventilation systems in various applications and industries, such as residences, offices, schools, hotels, hospitals and laboratories. The Johnson Controls 8" Round-Control Damper/Less Actuator RCG08N mounts to an 18" (45.72 cm) opening and requires a 6-1/2" (16.51 cm) back-set for installation.

The RCG08N is a round-control damper, which incorporates the same motorized damper and controls as the standard RCD08N. It does not, however, include the actuator.
