The V46AS-2 is a single acting, fixed pressure reducing valve. The V46AS-2 is designed for rated pressure rated up to 160/260 psi, respectively. The spool contains an adjustable, stainless steel seat in addition to the O-ring seal in order to ensure leak proof performance. The diaphragm design assures flow capacity, continuous service life and high temperature stability even in cryogenic applications.

With a flow range of 160-260 PSIG, V46A Series Tapped Diaphragm valves are suitable for numerous applications. The flow control lever (FCL) is graduated in 1/4-turn increments and has settings at 20, 40, 60 and 80 PSIA.

The Johnstons' V46AS-2 Water Regulating Valve is suitable for regulating flow in cold water systems. It is a brass body, plunger-type valve with an adjustable temperature compensator and a temperature limit stop spring set point between 160 and 260 degrees Fahrenheit (71 to 127 degrees Celsius). The valve is suitable for use on hot and cold water systems and pressure ratings between 350 and 700 psi (24 and 51 bar).

Water Regulating Valves (WRV) are open center, non-rising stem, ball/disc, proportioning valves with four NC, spool ports. Valves operate electrically or pneumatically under pressure at ambient temperatures.

The V46AS-2 is a -2 type diaphragm pressure relief valve with operating characteristics equivalent to the -3 type diaphragm pressure relief valve.

The V46AS-2 series diaphragm pressure relief valves feature a spring-loaded, diaphragm-operated poppet design. All valves are self contained with no external operating parts. They are designed for installation on the discharge line of the system being controlled to relieve pressure on product due to elevation, vacuum, or excessive flow conditions. The inverted bellows design provides excellent stability and responsive performance, increasing system efficiency while decreasing maintenance costs
