The V48AF2 1.5""3-WAY#ACT.VLV.R22,145/190# is a valve designed for use with a hydronic heating system to regulate the flow of fluid through a space conditioning loop. The V48AF-2 , Inc. V48AF2 1.5" 3-Way #ACT.VLV is part of Johnson Controls' Excellence series. The Johnson Controls V48AF-2 , Inc. V48AF2 1.5" 3-Way #ACT.VLV produces conditioned air in heating mode at temperatures ranging from 70° to 300° F, with sound levels of less than 0 dB(A), automatically regulates air flow, ranges from 6° to 22° F in cooling mode automatically maintains the desired room temperature, and is shipped partially charged for added convenience.

The V48AF2 1.5"3-Way valve operates a 3/4"" supply and return discharge with an optional 1.5" reduced pressure vacuum diaphragm (RPV) discharge option and 40:1 turndown ratio. This complete packaged refrigeration control is designed for use with computer cooling, ice machine, coffee cooler, hospital cooling fresh water systems and heat pump applications. This valve complies with the latest energy codes and standards such as ASHRAE 90.1 2007/2010 Standard for Energy Efficient Cooling Appliances & Systems, ASHRAE 90.4 Heat

The V48AF-2 features up to 3.7 GPM flow with 1.5"" actuation, simple on-site installation, backward compatibility with 1.0"" actuation valves, and 50 psi pipe pressure.

Three-way valve has end connections; R22, 145 and 190. +/- 0.5% accuracy on linear flow.

This CV unit now has the capability to use the new three-way refrigerant system which reduces your level of refrigerant charge by nearly 20% compared with two-way systems. This energy saving is up to 50% compared with conventional one-way or two-way systems.

Open-cell foam insulation helps R-22 equipment operate more efficiently and quietly in a small, compact package. Provides precise temperature control at precise times and temperatures with no over-cooling in the summer and no over-heating in the winter.
